The iconic Old Fitzroy Hotel theatre in Woolloomooloo has been home to a diverse range of world class independent theatre since 1997. As the newly appointed residents and managers of The Old Fitz, we plan to build on the theatre's incredible 16 year legacy, while injecting our own unique style and vision.
SITCO will build a year round program, comprising of theatre and a range of other entertainment including music, cabaret, comedy and film festivals.
The theatre being attached to a pub is a major part of the appeal of our new venue. All performances will include a meal and show offer, an interval and opportunities for the audience to chat with performers in the bar after the show. So audiences will get a complete night out including dinner, drinks, fun catching up with friends and of course a great show.
